Yes, the rumors are true...

We've fallen in love, and now we're "tying the knot".

Now that you've sent us your response, it's time to share the story about how we met, why we're getting married, and why we want you to show up in Kelowna on September 30th...

(As told by Chris...)

On a Cold, Wintry Night in January - Thousands of Miles Away From "Home" - Two Unsuspecting Travellers Climbed Into a Hot Tub...

...Little Did They Know That This "Chance" Meeting Would Spark the Beginning of a New Life Together...

So how's that for Romance?

Well, that's actually not too far from the truth :-)

Sarah and I met at a "hot-tub party" on January 7th, 2004.

She had just moved to Kelowna three days prior, and didn't know anyone there - except for Britney Janz, who had organized the hot tub event. Britney also happened to be a friend of mine from college, and she originally knew Sarah because they went to high-school together in Regina, SK.

As we would later discover, Britney had actually invited both of us to the party in hopes that we would take interest in eachother - and that's exactly what happened...

To make a long story short, I ended up giving Sarah a ride home that night because she hadn't brought her car. I was so excited to have a beautiful girl like her sitting next to me that I ended up blowing through TWO red lights en route..

She finally asked, "So, do people in Kelowna go through red lights a lot?"

We both laughed.

She arrived safely at home, and we made plans to meet up later on that weekend.

In a few weeks we started dating, and...

...the Rest is 'History'...

Sarah and I have had an amazing time getting to know eachother, and have grown very close in the last two and a half years.

It's become increasingly obvious to both of us that our love for eachother is both profound and passionate, and that we want nothing more than to share our lives together as friends, lovers and partners...

And so it brings us great pleasure to invite you, our beloved friends and family members, to share in our joy as we exchange wedding vows this September 30th of 2006...

We sincerely look forward to seeing you this September as we embark on a new chapter of our lives together.
